Born and raised in Ely Nevada. I have a wonderful family of six and I enjoy every moment I get to spend with them.

I first heard the call to the priesthood when the local pastor asked if I would like to become a priest during his homily on the fishers of men when about 8 yrs old. Ever since that time it was something that pulled on my heart.

A key point of discernment came after Confirmation. I was taken on a trip to Medjugorje by my mother and it was there that I asked for God's guidance on what step to take next after highschool. And from that moment on I felt the guidance of the Blessed Virgin.

At the encouragement of a priest friend I ended up applying to attend a Catholic College to get a degree in Philosophy in the hopes of entering seminary.

I ended up getting accepted to the University of Mary in Bismarck ND. A school steeped in the Benedictine values of its founders, and it was there I really saw the fruits of Mother Mary’s guidance as I studied and discerned what moves to make next. While in college I worked as a Butcher during the School year and as a Wildland Firefighter for the Bureau of Land Management during the summer.

As I was finishing my Bachelors Degree in Philosophy I received a call from the vocations director in Las Vegas (Fr. Ron) and he asked if I was considering a vocation to the priesthood. I applied to be a seminarian for the diocese a year after graduating college and was accepted and sent to study theology at Mount Angel Seminary at the Benedictine Abbey of Mount Angel Oregon. I graduated there with my Masters of Divinity in the spring of 2024.

I was ordained a priest by Archbishop Thomas on May 25th 2024, one year after my ordination to the Transitional Diaconate.

Hobbies: I am an avid outdoorsman, I love to hunt and fish. I also love working on cars, blacksmithing, and building things with my hands. When the opportunity arises I love to get out and play some basketball or baseball.
