Ellen originates from New York, having been born in Manhattan and raised in Upstate New York, she is blessed to have experienced the best of both urban and suburban life. Having been brought up in the faith for as long as she can remember, the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit have been integral in leading her through the perils of secular life and squaring her solidly in the sacred. Having been a Counselor in her home town’s Catholic Youth Organization, it was these first begins that helped her to see the importance of surrounding herself with others who were strong in faith and rich in love. With God’s guiding hand, Ellen began her vocation in music at an early age studying Piano, Vocals, Guitar, Clarinet, Percussion and various others. Studying Classical vocal training with Anitra Lynch at Crane School of Music at the tender age 9 and going on to receive her Bachelors of Music in Voice and Songwriting at the world renown Berklee College of Music. She studied the Alexander Technique with the very gifted Jean McClelland from the Open Center in NYC attended St. John’s Abbey in Minnesota and received a certification in their Life program, Liturgy in an Informed Environment. Together they are committed to serving in Ministry for the service and love of others. “There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for a friend. John 15:13”

“Over the many years there is one thing that I have learned, that it’s Connection not Perfection that matters most and these are words that I strive to live by everyday. I look forward to serving all who come to Christ the King Catholic Church from Baptism to Final Death. I am here to assist in all sacraments around the Table at Mass. May the Peace of Christ be with you always.” Ellen
